The character used in Riley's icons is a character design by Patty and I take no credit for the artwork or the design, just the character Riley.
Many words have been used to describe Riley, and a lot of them are just plain mean. This being said, none of them are without cause—she is, without a doubt, a thieving, manipulative smartass and it probably wouldn't be too outlandish to start rhyming things with "witch", either.
She's crafty and she knows it, and she uses it to her advantage. Over time, Riley has mastered the art of manipulation—she knows how to word things, how to sweeten a deal and she knows how to work that body of hers (although when she flirts, she's only ever doing it to get what she wants). More often than not, she sees others as tools to help her get what she wants; she doesn't get emotionally attached and considers everyone else unimportant. Oddly, though, she has a strong maternal instinct, even if she's more of that 'cool big sis' than a mother to the young'ins she does end up associating with.
Riley doesn't remember her parents. What she does remember are dirty streets and alleyways, cardboard boxes and a group of older children who raised her as a part of their family of street rats. Most of them were part Pokémon just like her, but that didn't mean much. The fact that they kept her safe and healthy, all while teaching her how to survive on her own and on the streets, did. Her speed made her ideal for thievery and she ended up being the first choice to go out and swipe food and other necessities.
As time went on, the group split up and Riley ended up on her own. Her thieving ways haven't changed a bit but she's managed to split the cost of a shabby little apartment with a roommate she barely talks to, although most of the time she's out on the streets causing trouble anyway. One of her favorite new schemes is creating gambling games that can't be won and then running like hell (which she is rather good at) when the police inevitably show up.
Her status as a Luxray hybrid comes with the ability to use some of their 'moves'. She can manipulate smaller amounts of electricity around her and use it as a weapon, and also has the species' trademark x-ray vision.
★ Luxray Gijinka
(by default i play her in a verse where gijinkas are a normal thing and she was simply born that way, but I'm not opposed to changing this to suit threads/games)★ Cis female, pansexual with a preference for women
